A Perfect Sister I Am Not, But Thankful For the One I've Got.

The theme of this blog post is sisters, because Kelsey is here (thus completing the set) also, most of the pictures ended up being sister pictures.

Here is a perfect example. Okay...in all seriousness Sarah claims the artistic credit to this photo. It was taken during a lovely sisters outing to the beach in Cassis.

SISTERS!

SIS...it's actually a kid we saw in the train station with a shirt that said Minneapolis on it! Minnesota  pride!

Dancing a sister dance full of tears before running the Aix women's 7k. We were pretty scared, especially Emily, having never run a race before.

A pair of sisters showing their true feelings about running.

After the race the sisters were feeling pretty good and wearing their matching sister tee shirts.

Both sets of sisters sang on the streets during the Saturday market to try get a little extra money. We ended up making over 100 euros and getting free pottery!

Saying goodbye to our dear friend Loni, who is like a sister to us. For real.

Saying goodbye to Kelsey (hopefully not for long!)

Being a flamingo.

Not knowing when to quit.

Sisters! Anna grew a nice beard just for the picture! There is a good story behind this picture. Be sure to ask one of us sometime.

Matching nerds (just like sisters should be)

Forgetting to match but still looking nerdy.

Showing some sisterly love.

Kelsey's friend Bess is here! We chose this picture because it shows some raw sister interaction.

Being normal.

Amendine (also known as Emily) is leaving today, wish her a happy flight!
                                                                 See you all next week!

A post too eclectic to name.

While being in Paris with our parents....well with Anna and Emily's parents, not Sarah's, we girls stayed in Sacre Coeur for the night. Isn't it beautiful?
The view from our window. Not too shabby.

Triumphant once again (at Notre Dame)

Standing on a bench for no apparent reason...this is in front of the Eiffel tower by the way.
Okay, enough of Paris.

We went to see Mozart's Requiem at the cathedral near our apartment. It was wonderful!

Skipped school for a croissant tasting. We all agree that it was the right course of action.

We had score charts and everything. It was serious stuff.
Enough of France.

Our reactions to arriving in Africa!

There was an abundance of cool doors and cool people standing next to them.

Looking at Moroccan things.

By the way, Michelle was with us. Proof.

Through a garden wall.

More cool doors.

Mordor....get it?

I wish we had more Lord of the Ring jokes for you guys. Sorry.

Marrakesh

View from our hostel rooftop.

Anna's Henna (which was practically forced upon her.)

Looking into our hostel

Looking cool

Looking cooler

Looking coolest.

Cats. Obviously.

World traveler.

The beautiful mosque in Casablanca.

Sarah found a giant pineapple!

Michelle refused to budge without getting a picture by this African novelty.

Cocktails instead of dinner in Casablanca at Ricks, a true gem of a place.

Just posing with her billboard friends.

Posing with real friends.

We were waiting for a train... taking pictures is what you do. They look gooood!

Michelle looking fly.

Drinking African coffee.

Eating African yogurt "I don't look cool eating yogurt!"
I beg to differ.

Scarfing down African butter.

Trying not to burn under the hot African sun.

It was saint George's day and the hostel we stayed at gave all the ladies roses. Except Sarah, she took matters into her own hands and swiped one.

Beautiful spices.

Donkeys were around every corner.
Typical Marrakesh.

This tea is pretty symbolic of our time in Morocco.

In other news, Kelsey is now here with us and eventually she will be incorporated into some pictures and blog posts.
